Shaking incubators type LT-X, ISF-1-X, and ISF-4-X have built in CO2 control and are adapted for optimized cell culture shaking with a controlled temperature range of 10ºC below ambient (minimum 15ºC) to >60ºC. The cooled and humidified units have temperature accuracy ±0.20ºC and allow for cultivation of cells in 96-well microtiter plates, 50 mL spin tubes, or shake flasks up to 6 liters. Continuous supervision, monitoring, audit trails, and programming of experiments is achieved with ISIS-X, an information system for intelligent shakers with interfaces to all standard bus systems.
