Trypsin/Lys-C mix is a combination of Trypsin Gold and rLys-C proteases. The mix increases peptide generation with in-solution protein digestion and can work with difficult-to-digest proteins. Enhanced proteolytic activity achieved through use of Trypsin/Lys-C Mix can result in a 20–40% increase in the number of peptides generated. Trypsin/Lys-C mix is also tolerant to Trypsin-inhibiting contaminants, enabling researchers to generate mass spectrometry data from poor-quality sample material.
