pH-Tolerant HPLC Column

The PRP-C18 HPLC column can support separation processes under extreme conditions—high pressures, high temperatures, as well as pH levels below 3 and above 7. Such capabilities can simplify method development in reversed-phase chromatography, where pH has a decisive role in separation efficiency. With the PRP-C18, neutral amines or other organic bases can be isolated under alkaline conditions without degrading the column, which can be regenerated using strong acidic and basic solutions without causing damage. In addition, the highly cross-linked PRP-C18 resin packing is designed to resist swelling or shrinking under extreme conditions, allowing operation at up to 5000 psi (350 bar) and more than 100°C.
