PCR Reagents

The MyTaq™ DNA polymerase family is a new generation of eight hot-start (HS) and standard PCR reagents, designed to be used even with complex genomic DNA. MyTaq is engineered to increase affinity for DNA, helping improve yield, sensitivity, and speed. The MyTaq enzyme is supplied with a 5x buffer system, already containing dNTPs and MgCl2 at the appropriate levels. MyTaq provides amplification for routine applications such as genotyping, and the hot-start antibody makes MyTaq HS a good choice for fast-PCR, colony-PCR, multiplexing, and for use with automation. The MyTaq family is available as stand-alone DNA polymerase, with or without Red gel-loading dye and all-in-one mastermixes, for hot-start and standard PCR assays.
