Particle Imaging

The FlowCAM® parenteral imaging and analysis system detects and images protein aggregates, silicone oil droplets, air bubbles, and foreign particulates suspended in parenteral infusions or solutions for injection. It then differentiates each particle from the other automatically. Revealing subvisible, transparent, and translucent particles, the FlowCAM counts each particle detected to aid compliance with USP method 788 and support the safety of each product or batch while also characterizing each particle based on its actual size, shape, and circularity, among other parameters. This product is useful for lab managers, formulation chemists, QA/QC managers, process engineers, and others responsible for the quality of therapeutic protein formulations, vaccines, and other parenteral products.
