The Accel-NGS™ DNA library kit is the first product in a new line of kits for next-generation sequencing sample preparation. Users can produce PCR-free libraries with 5 Ng of input DNA. The two-step adaptation process also reduces adapter dimer formation to increase sequencing output. The Accel-NGS DNA library kit does not require intact double-stranded DNA. Its protocol requires 75 minutes start-to-finish and consists of five steps, two of which are bead-based separations that reduce the need for electrophoretic gel-based size selection. The Accel-NGS workflow can be automated.
