The demountable microvolume (DMV) Bio Cell uses precision micromachining techniques and materials to produce a high-energy throughput, ultra-low volume (<2.5 µL) direct sampling solution for life science samples. The DMV-Bio Cell can be used in most UV-visible spectrophotometers for the determination of nucleic acids or proteins. The DMV-Bio Cell utilizes a magnetic closure mechanism that facilitates rapid filling/emptying plus cleaning of the cell to prevent carryover and for convenience.
