The PXi is a high-resolution, multi-application image analysis system for scientists who need a compact, one-click method for imaging chemiluminescent and fluorescent blots, as well as 1D gels (up to 10 cm x 12 cm) stained with any type of fluorescent dye. The compact PXi can image faint bands with its 6.3 million-pixel camera and large fixed aperture lens. One can fit a range of lighting including IR lighting and filter options inside the PXi system, and using GeneSys imaging software, the PXi can be set up to automatically select good conditions.
