ZIC®-cHILIC is designed for HPLC and LC-MS analysis of polar hydrophilic compounds. This zwitterionic stationary phase with phosphorylcholine functional group can provide complementary selectivity for method development for substances that have been difficult to separate by previous types of HPLC columns operated in reverse-phase or HILIC mode. The selectivity features of ZIC-cHILIC work well for negatively charged polar compounds such as nucleotides and organic acids, but can also provide separations of positively charged hydrophilic molecules such as aminoglycosides and cations. The column is also suitable for zwitterionic and neutral polar hydrophilic substances.
