The Ionflux ion-channel screening platform is now fully automated with the integration of a liquid handler. This upgrade enables plate preparation to keep up with IonFlux system throughput, and allows full walk-away capability of up to four hours. Additionally, multiple IonFlux systems can be arrayed with a single liquid handler to further increase throughput. This new automated liquid-handling capability is now a standard part of IonFlux, and existing systems can be upgraded. The IonFlux system is useful for a range of ion-channel screening applications.
