Fluorescent Protein

mNeonGreen is a monomeric green fluorescent protein derived from the lancelet (cephalochordate) Branchiostoma lanceolatum. It has been demonstrated to perform as a fusion tag to a large number of target proteins when expressed in mammalian cells. mNeonGreen is photostable, is an acceptor for cyan fluorescent proteins, and is a fluorescent protein tag for single-color super-resolution imaging in live or fixed cells.
