The Aurora Nucleic Acid Extraction System is designed to deliver DNA and RNA of high purity from challenging samples. Recommended applications include difficult environmental extractions for metagenomics research including soil, marine sediments, plant tissues, and stool. Additionally, the Aurora has the ability to purify intact, high molecular weight DNA from 100 kb–1 MB from cell culture or agarose plugs with extraction directly into buffer. The Aurora can aid in sample preparation and can also be applied to difficult inhibited and low-biomass samples.
