The Freedom EVO®-HSM workstation provides walkaway extraction of gDNA from large-volume blood samples using Promega’s ReliaPrep™ large-volume HT gDNA isolation system. The workstation is designed to streamline biobanking workflows, offering one-tube gDNA extraction from up to 32 samples in less than four hours. The system is controlled by the TouchTools™ touchscreen interface. Using the platform’s liquid-level detection function, the system is able to calculate the reagent volumes for each sample, ensuring good walkaway extraction of DNA from 1–10 mL of blood.
