Precast gels with Biotium’s GelRed™ for HLA typing are now available. The HLA Ready-to-Use gels offer eight-channel compatibility for up to 96-sample testing at one time. When used with the Origins electrophoresis system, results can be obtained within seven minutes. Integrated temperature control and buffer circulation promote reproducibility. As GelRed can be imaged using the same instruments and optical settings as ethidium bromide, the HLA Ready-to-Use gels with GelRed can be used without added costs for new filters.
