The CoolBox™ XT workstations can provide over 16 hours of temperature control, 0.5 to 4°C, through a dual-phase XT cooling core. The optional XT freezing core can keep samples frozen for over 10 hours. CoolBox XT Workstations have a modular design to accommodate a range of CoolRack® and CoolSink™ sample modules that hold various tubes (microfuge, vacutainers, large centrifuge, cryovials), PCR plates and strips, u-bottom plates, and flat-bottom tissue culture plates. The automation-friendly workstations contain standard SBS footprint sample modules that can be used on robotic instrumentation and work well when a brief transfer of temperature-sensitive samples to a robotic device is needed.
