The XFe Extracellular Flux Analyzer measures the two major energy pathways of the cell—mitochondrial respiration and glycolysis—in a microplate in real-time. The XFe Analyzer and stress test kits have helped standardize the measurements of mitochondrial dysfunction and glycolysis, enabling scientists to better understand the connection between physiological traits of cells with genomic and proteomic data. It can also measure CO2 mitochondrial dysfunction and fatty acid oxidation.
