Aegis™ 5-14 premium film is used to manufacture Thermo Scientific™ bioprocess containers for biopharma drug discovery and production. Developed specifically for liquid handling, production, storage, and transportation, Aegis 5-14 is a five-layer, 14 mil cast film produced in a cGMP facility. The outer layer is a polyester elastomer coextruded with an ethyl vinyl alcohol barrier layer and an ultra-low density polyethylene product contact layer. Aegis 5-14 film is manufactured using no animal-derived components.
