Cortecs® columns are a new family of 1.6 micron solid-core UltraPerformance LC® columns. The increased efficiency brought to chromatography with Cortecs columns allows laboratories to produce larger amounts of information with chromatographic separations. The columns are available in C18, C18+, or HILIC chemistries and in 30 column configurations. Cortecs column particles feature a solid, impermeable silica core encased in a porous silica outer layer where the interactions between the stationary phase and the analytes occur.
