Autoclavable 3L Fernbach flasks are now available. They feature increased surface area-to-volume ratio to provide greater air and media circulation. The flask is manufactured with FDA-approved Lexan® polycarbonate resin to offer glass-like optical clarity and mechanical strength. The DuoCAP® provides sterile gas exchange. Each flask is individually packaged and gamma sterilized to SAL 10-6. It can be rinsed, resterilized by autoclaving, and reused.
