Rating:
Strong Points: Well organized, clear descriptions
Weak Points: Nerdy

Summary:
I discovered this departmental site via the page of one of its faculty members and thought it looked good enough to be reported here. Hosted at the University of California at Davis, this interesting page is as varied as the interests of the many people contributing to it. My first stop was at the Rost lab, which has QuickTime animations of cell division and differentiation in Arabidopsis root. That whetted my appetite to look at the other faculty sites, and what I found was a consistently high level of interesting research combined with educational descriptions that make it a worthwhile stop for anyone hoping to learn a lot about plants. A very nice set of departmental pages.
