Summary:
Think CNN for the environment and you’ve got a pretty good idea of the focus of this site. The latest headlines give a taste of the contents—’Texas Plans Nation’s Largest Offshore Wind Farm’, ‘PETA Urges Applebees to Alter Poultry Slaughter’,and ‘Katrina Helps New Orleans Fight Fire Ants.’ Other sections of ENN contain valuable information as well. They include ‘channels’ on sustainable economy, ecosystems, science/technology, energy, water, conservation, food, and wildlife. News is summarized weekly, as well as daily, and a radio broadcast is available too. In addition to articles on its own site, ENN provides links to affiliate publisher sites. Overall, ENN lives up to expectations and serves the environmental community well.
