This examination of the pharma/bio industry highlights some interesting trends and perhaps illustrates the myriad of challenges that are confronting the sector while it also tackles difficult economic head-winds.
The consolidation and re-focusing of strategies have led to signifcant job losses across the sector and we at Liftstream have seen the increased availability of skilled professionals. Consolidation is not solely responsible and as R&D programmes command greater investment again, jobs will come back to the market.
