The stem cell sector we cover, consisting of twenty companies all traded on U.S. exchanges, has shown the ability to raise capital even in the difficult environment of the last twelve months. I agree about the patent issue and the confusion that abounds there. Legal and regulatory harmonization is probably a long way off and will follow rather than lead the development of applicable therapies.
