Nutritional Therapeutics, Inc. (NTI) of Commack, New York announces a new strategic alliance and licensing agreement with Nutri-Link Ltd in Newton Abbot, UK for the expansion of Lipid Replacement Therapy® (LRT®) to healthcare practitioners in the UK, Northern Ireland and Ireland. LRT® is delivered through NTI’s patent-pending, all-natural line of NT Factor® products that provide the nutritional formula for replacing and repairing oxidized (damaged) phospholipids. These phospholipids are basic lipids that make up cell and mitochondrial membranes, which are essential for vital health and proper functioning of all cells in the body. Environmental toxins, unhealthy diets, medications, stress, aging, cancer, infections and chronic diseases and more are the causes of why cells become weakened, damaged and die.

It is the first time the European market has been introduced to LRT®, which has been scientifically and clinically proven to reduce fatigue by the restoration of membrane function, especially within the mitochondria, the sites of energy production within cells. Major clinical benefits include increased energy and activity levels, the reduction of fatigue, and the improvement of the long-term health of every tissue, organ and system of the body.

John Casey, CEO of NTI states, “The results of LRT® have been scientifically validated in 9 preclinical and clinical trials over the past 15 years, with millions of doses safely taken by consumers. As the sole provider of LRT® through our proprietary line of NT Factor® products, we have published more than 25 articles in scientific and medical journals on its benefits. We are pleased to work with Nutri-Link Ltd, and are excited about the ability to expand LRT® beyond the U.S. Companies like Nutri-Link Ltd, who understand the importance of documented scientific research and cellular biology, will be the leaders of education for LRT® through healthcare practitioners and consumer markets.”

Professor Garth Nicolson, Ph.D., the 1991 recipient of the Burroughs Wellcome Medal of the Royal Society of Medicine in the UK, and President of the Institute for Molecular Medicine in Huntington Beach, California, has led the independent research team for 15 years. Dr. Nicolson says, “I strongly believe that this all-natural therapy is essential for restoration of membrane cellular function and efficiency. Health professionals in Europe will now have an opportunity to provide a valuable, effective and safe natural supplement for fatigue and fatigue-related illnesses.

Michael Ash, CEO of Nutri-Link Ltd, says, “Nutri-Link is honored to have been given the opportunity to be the first provider of LRT® in the UK, and Ireland. We look forward to the benefits provided to patients on behalf of our network of health care professionals."
