With President Obama’s election last year and recent advances in stem cell research, the door appears to have finally opened for significant advances in this promising field. Indeed, an Albert Lasker Medical Research Award was presented to two scientists earlier this year for discoveries involving nuclear reprogramming, the process that instructs specialized adult cells to form early stem cells, thus creating the potential to become any type of mature cell for experimental or therapeutic purposes. We want to know whether you think stem cell research will make it into the applied research arena within the next three years?
