Scientists' Image in the Popular Realm
GQ magazine in collaboration with Geoffrey Beene Gives Back® and the Entertainment Industry Foundation/Stand Up To Cancer featured eight popular musicians/singers and seventeen of the nation’s top medical scientists in a special section in the December issue entitled Rock Stars of Science™. The goal was to increase public awareness and appreciation of the important work done by researchers and scientists.
