The WHO describes antibiotic resistance as a looming crisis in which common and treatable infections are becoming life threatening.  A study by researchers at the Australian National University School of Medicine just reported that a country's level of antibiotic resistance is NOT related to its wealth. Rather, antibiotic resistance is linked with poor governance and corruption around the world.
