Audience members at “Prohibit Genetically Engineered Babies,” the most recent Intelligence Squared U.S. debate, voted for or against the motion before listening to panelists argue their points. (Find out more about the debate here.) The side that swayed the most votes after the debate would be declared the winner. Before the debate began, the results showed that 24% were for the prohibition of genetically engineered babies, 30% against, and 46% undecided.
