Vitro Diagnostics Opens Manfacturing Facility for Its Stem Cell Products

  • Vitro Diagnostics opened a corporate facility in the Coors Technology Center located in Golden, CO. The site will be used for manufacturing, R&D, and administrative functions.

    The Company says it is especially suited to support FDA-compliant manufacturing of its human stem cell products for various applications in medical research, pharmaceutical manufacturing, drug discovery, and cell therapy of diabetes and other diseases.

    Vitro Diagnostics is leasing the facility from a third party at a rate comparable to its prior facility leases.

Scientifically Studying Ecstasy

MDMA (commonly known as the empathogen “ecstasy”) is classified as a Schedule 1 drug, which is reserved for compounds with no accepted medical use and a high abuse potential. Two researchers from Stanford, however, call for a rigorous scientific exploration of MDMA's effects to identify precisely how the drug works, the data from which could be used to develop therapeutic compounds.
