The Integrated Biobank of Luxembourg (IBBL) has decided to use Life Technologies’ Applied Biosystems SOLiD™ System for next-generation sequencing of a range of samples. The goal is to elucidate the genetic basis of various diseases.


The IBBL is an independent, nonprofit biobanking and biotechnology foundation designed to support investigators worldwide. With an initial focus on cancer, the IBBL collects, stores, analyzes, and distributes a variety of biospecimen samples.
