Symyx Technologies inked a collaboration with Thermo Fisher Scientific to deliver enhanced services related to scientists’ laboratory information management system (LIMS) needs. The firms will integrate applications, and Thermo Fisher will market and sell Symyx Notebook and Symyx Isentris(R) decision support software with Thermo Scientific LIMS across the world.

Initially, the companies will focus on coupling Thermo Scientific Watson LIMS and Symyx Notebook systems. Once this is achieved, they will move on to combining Symyx Notebook with other Thermo Scientific LIMS.
