A logistics center and the expansion of its administrative business is planned.

Rentschler says it is investing €14 million, or $22.03 million, to expand its Laupheim site in Germany. The company notes that this move will help it concentrate all biotech activities at one site.

A logistics center will be added in Laupheim and the administrative building in Erwin-Rentschler-Straße will be expanded. The logistics center will have a high-rise warehouse, several cold warehouses, an incoming goods department, a dispatch area, and the company’s transport fleet. The move into the new buildings is planned for end of 2009.

Rentschler says that it recently completed a €50 million investment in biotechnology development and production facility expansions.
