Qualia Selects Logos’ EDC Technology for Clinical Trial Site

  • Qualia Clinical Services will use Logos Technologies' electronic data capture (EDC) system, Alphadas®, to streamline and automate trials in its Phase I clinical facility in Omaha. The system provides time-based data entry at the bedside, collection and integration of laboratory data, images, and scans as well as bar-coded labeling to track samples from draw to dispatch.

“Automating our recently expanded Phase I facility with Alphadas will enable us to provide our pharma and biotech sponsors with top quality, real-time access to critical data while conducting state-of-the-art clinical trials,”  points out Azhar Kalim, COO of Qualia.

The company recently added 10,000 square feet of space to the Phase I site, which opened in the fall 2006. The clinic is now 33,000 square feet with a capacity of about 160 beds. Qualia also has operations in Toronto and Kiev, Ukraine.
