f-Star to Open a Research Building in U.K.

  • f-star is opening a research site in Cambridge, U.K. and plans to begin operations on April 15. The facility will be located at the Babraham Research Campus.

    Researchers located here will be responsible for lead generation based on the company's Modular Antibody Technology. f-star also plans to use the building for future research related to the collaborations with pharma and biotech partners.

Scientifically Studying Ecstasy

MDMA (commonly known as the empathogen “ecstasy”) is classified as a Schedule 1 drug, which is reserved for compounds with no accepted medical use and a high abuse potential. Two researchers from Stanford, however, call for a rigorous scientific exploration of MDMA's effects to identify precisely how the drug works, the data from which could be used to develop therapeutic compounds.
