Evotec
entered into a research agreement with
Biogen Idec to find hit molecules against a target selected by Biogen Idec. The firm has the option to add more targets.
Evotec will provide Biogen Idec with access to its full range of screening technologies and library of compounds. The company will use its background in protein production and assay development to develop new assays for the initial target.
