Ambry Partners with SoftGenetics to Provide Extended Bioinformatics Services for Next-Gen Sequencing

  • Ambry Genetics inked a partnership under which it will be able to offer extended genomics bioinformatics services for next-generation sequencing projects using SoftGenetics’ NextGENe software. Ambry’s services focus on clinical diagnostics and genomics.

SoftGenetics specializes in the development of genetic analysis tools for both research and diagnostic applications. The Windows-based freestanding NextGENe software incorporates a patent-pending Condensation Tool™ and has been designed to solve three primary problems associated with second-generation sequence analysis: short reads, high error rates, and overwhelming data volume.
