Pre-packed columns containing TSKgel media are designed for the analysis of proteins, peptides, other biopolymers, and low molecular weight compounds. The packings in the columns are either silica-based or polymer-based material, in particle sizes ranging from 2 μm to 20 μm. Columns are available in analytical through preparative sizes, in stainless steel, PEEK®, or glass.
The same polymeric media used in TSKgel columns are also available in bulk. They are offered in particle sizes of 20 μm and 30 μm, for high-resolution purification protocols based on ion exchange and hydrophobic interaction chromatography.
Toyopearl resins have the same selectivity as the TSKgel resins and are hydrophilic, macroporous, bulk bioprocessing media made exclusively for large-scale chromatographic applications.
The media are stable over the pH range of 2–12 for normal operating conditions and pH 2–14 for cleaning conditions. The particle sizes are: 50–150 μm (coarse grade) for capture chromatography, 40–90 μm (medium grade) for economical purification, and 20–50 μm (superfine grade) for high performance polishing applications. Toyopearl media are available for hydrophobic interaction, ion exchange, affinity and size exclusion chromatography in large-scale processes.
ToyoScreen Process Development columns are method-development tools for convenient scale-up. These are easy-to-use, pre-packed columns containing the popular Toyopearl resins and provide a convenient, low-cost method for the evaluation of Toyopearl ligand chemistries.
The EcoSEC GPC System is a complete system for the analysis of polymers by GPC. The unit is ideal for semi-micro columns due to its low dead volume and as a result saves time, money, and valuable sample.
