As if there are not enough reasons to love Fridays, here’s one more: Science Fridays, the weekly broadcast on NPR. The broadcast presents science in informative and fun ways, covering topics as diverse as technology, neuroscience, the science of yoga, and geology. The SciFri BE app for the iPad and iPhone now gives you Science Friday whenever you want, no matter what day of the week! The app contains both audio files and video files, and the option to create your very own playlist. (However, be warned that only audio files can be added to the playlist.) The user interface of the app is fairly straightforward, and the design aesthetic of the homepage is minimalist. Yes, the audio and video files are (rightfully) the stars of this show, and they are sure to keep you entertained for a while!
