Remember the good ol’ days of high school and college, where each new math class required an increasingly powerful graphing calculator? Well nowadays, the MathGraphics app will save a lot of students (and their parents) money, as this graphing calculator app is absolutely free. This app is incredibly easy to use, and the graphics are wonderful. Upon entering an equation to be graphed (a scientific calculator keyboard is included), users can easily explore the graph by zooming in/out or moving it around on the screen. The graph can be displayed alone, or it can be displayed along with a values table—in this mode, users can tap the graphed function at any point to display the x and y coordinates. Sure, this app will fall short when it comes to visualizing the most advanced mathematic equations, but as a basic graphing calculator, it is solid.
