Summary:

Do you want to learn how to program? Via the Code School app (an accompanying app to the company’s online course offerings), users can access video lessons covering diverse programming languages and platforms such as Ruby, JavaScript, iOS, and HTML/CSS. A handful of the courses are free, though most courses require a Code School subscription for full access. (Even for the subscriber-only courses, though, the first few lessons are free.) Unfortunately the free courses are not indicated or segregated in any way within the app—you just have to find them by trial and error. (Free courses can be identified by the lack of “locks” that appear next to subscriber-only lessons.) Video lessons must be downloaded from the app, so make sure you have free storage on your device before embarking on your coding journey.
