Strong Points: Nice website design, good variety of tools
Weak Points: Nothing major

Summary:

The Wodak Lab of Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children is a very busy place! In their efforts to study protein interactions with other proteins, DNA, and ligands, members of the lab have developed a number of computational tools that are available on the lab website. There are nine such resources on the “tools/data” page. Among these is DAnCER, which stands for Disease Annotated Chromatin Epigenetic Resource; Netility, which is a network visualization tool for your browser; and HiveGraph, a linear layout for network analysis. The page also contains three plugins developed for the program Cytoscape: GenePro is a visualization plugin, OrthoNets permits network comparisons between organisms, and GIPro can be used to analyze high-throughput genetic interactions. So thank you, Wodak Lab, for making your computational tools (and nicely designed website) available to the scientific community.
