SuperTarget

insilico.charite.de/supertarget
  • Many search options, good organization
  • Nothing major

You may feel as if you have super powers after visiting SuperTarget, a website whose name could double as a hero in a comic book series. The SuperTarget database is a great destination for researchers studying drug-target relationships, as it is primarily composed of three types of entries: drugs, proteins, and side effects. In addition to providing site visitors with the options of searching by drug or target, SuperTarget also includes the ability to search for KEGG pathway maps, as well as the option to perform an ontology search (either by molecular function, cellular component, or biological process). If your proteins of interest happen to be in the Cytochrome P450 family then you are especially in luck, as the site includes an entire section devoted to this target class.
