Plants For a Future

URL:www.pfaf.org
  • Great link collection, good organization
  • Nothing Major

If plants were able to organize a march against deforestation and destruction of the environment, the title of this site might serve as a good chant for their protest. In the context of this website, however, “plants for a future” refers to the use of plants for a healthier future for us. Plants For A Future provides a database of useful plants—be it in the edible sense, or medicinal sense, or another sense altogether. You are bound to find something interesting on this site, be it eight different plants that can serve as substitutes for chocolate or plants that can be used as drinking straws. Perhaps as equally impressive as the plant database is the collection of links to other plant websites and databases. The wealth of information will certainly keep you rooted to this website for a while.
