Summary:

NEMAPLEX—which stands for the NEMAtode-Plant Expert information system—is a self-described “virtual encyclopedia on soil and plant nematodes.” (For the nonaficionados out there, nematodes comprise a phylum of roundworms that include the genetic model organism C. elegans, among countless others.) The colors and graphics on the website might not have the polished look that so many websites have these days, but there is a lot of information to be found within the site’s pages. The main menu of the site divides content into 15 categories, including biology and taxonomy, nematode ecology, nematode news, links to scientific search engines, and a dictionary of terminology, among other things. Content on the site takes many forms, including articles, lists and Powerpoint presentations (including a number of presentations in Spanish). So get ready to get excited about worms!
