Rating:
Strong Points: Great presentations, educational tools
Weak Points: Seminars are listed by speaker, not topic (so you don’t know what you’re about to watch)

Summary:

Almost everyone nowadays carries around a laptop, iPod, or smart phone (or all three), and iBioSeminars offers great educational materials that can be accessed on any of these devices. If you want to add some variety to your regimen of listening to your favorite music playlists or surfing the web, you can stream or download any of the numerous biology seminars offered on this site. Given by prominent scientists in areas such as developmental biology and neuroscience, the presentations on the site show both the speaker and his/her PowerPoint presentation. The best part is that all of the seminars are free to watch/download. In addition to the seminars themselves, there are also educational tools such as lecture notes and review questions. It is hoped that the number of seminars on this site will continue to grow, as it is a wonderful and accessible resource.
