FEI Resources Page

  • Great image gallery, many student resources

It is always a pleasure to find company websites that include non-product-related information (and therefore serve a greater purpose than simply trying to make a buck). Such is the case with the website for FEI, a company that produces and distributes electron microscopes. The “Resources” page of the website offers a great deal of interesting and educational information. The NanoCenter, for instance, provides not only links to the company’s technical documents, but also provides a nanotechnology newsfeed. Users can browse amazing images showcasing the wonders of electron microscopy in the Image Gallery, which also includes a link to a PDF pamphlet entitled, “Introduction to Electron Microscopy.” Additionally, there exist entire pages dedicated to student learning, information about the latest events and webinars, and links to other web resources for students and professionals.
