Summary:

The Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching and Learning (CIRTL) is a National Science Foundation initiative focused on improving higher education teaching in STEM fields. Joined in this goal are 22 universities that comprise the CIRTL Network; however, graduate students, postdocs, and faculty members interested in STEM education need not reside at one of the Network schools to partake in the resources made available on the CIRTL Network website. Anyone can register for a free account to gain access to the whole website. Resources on the site include a forum of teaching-related job listings, CIRTL publications and blog posts, as well as online courses. (For the courses, priority is given to students/postdocs from Network schools, then to non-Network affiliates on a space-available basis.) The website also provides opportunities (such as the Online Learning Communities) for educators to connect and share ideas.
