Speaking of signaling, the Alliance for Cellular Signaling (AfCS) aims to “understand as completely as possible the relationships between sets of inputs and outputs in signaling cells that vary both temporally and spatially.” AfCS doesn’t try to cover all the news, though it does feature full-length research articles (PDF and HTML) and brief communications. In addition, the site provides access to several useful databases including the Yeast Two Hybrid Database, a Plasmid Database, an Antibody Database, and a Covalent Modification Database. Other features of the site appeared to be locked up behind a section that required login. No apparent options for free or paid registration were found, so how one gains access to the content is not clear.
